In the early morning hours of July 10, 2022, a domestic dispute in the New Friarsgate subdivision of Irmo, South Carolina, ended in the shooting death of 21-year-old Ryan T. Shull. A male, Shull was a resident of West Columbia. The incident was reported to the Irmo Police Department at approximately 1:30 a.m., who responded to a residence on Shawn Bay Road.
