Carlos LaMarcus Bethel, an 18-year-old from Irmo, South Carolina, tragically passed away on August 14, 2019, due to complications from gunshot wounds to the upper body. The incident occurred on August 8, 2019, when Bethel was shot along with two other individuals in a violent encounter on Forestview Circle, near Broad River Road in the Irmo area. The shooting, which took place around 9:15 p.m., was reportedly linked to marijuana.
