In the late afternoon of Wednesday, February 19, 2020, emergency services in Irmo, South Carolina, responded to a call on Old Dutch Fork Road. There, they discovered 18-year-old Corey E. Hunt inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound to his head. Paramedics transported the Chapin resident to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The Richland County Coroner's Office later confirmed the cause of death.
