Venson Leon Edwards Jr., a 34-year-old resident of Greenwood, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on October 8, 2022. Edwards was found with a gunshot wound at an apartment complex located at the corner of Taggart Avenue and New Market Street. The Greenwood Police Department responded to the scene after receiving a call about a gunshot victim. Upon arrival, officers discovered Edwards lying unresponsive on the porch of the residence.
