In the spring of 2024, the life of a young man from Greenwood, South Carolina, was tragically cut short in an incident involving firearms. Traveon J. Johnson, a 17-year-old Black male, died on the evening of April 10, 2024. The events leading to his death unfolded at the Phoenix Place Apartments, where Johnson was with several other individuals.
