In the early morning hours of June 4, 2019, the typically quiet Thornbrook Court in Greenwood, South Carolina, was disturbed by the sound of gunfire. Responding to the scene at approximately 12:10 a.m., law enforcement discovered 22-year-old Zykevious Ramsey, a Black male, shot on the steps outside an apartment complex.
