Demetrius Dwight, a 31-year-old resident of Greer, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on December 6, 2022. The incident occurred on Turner Street near Lorla Street around 8:40 p.m. The Greer Police Department initially responded to a report of a disturbance in the area, but while en route, they received another call reporting gunshots. Upon arrival, officers found Demetrius Dwight deceased at the scene. The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office later confirmed his identity.
