Christopher Wayne Banks, a 46-year-old resident of Easley, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on August 23, 2021, in a shooting incident at a home near downtown Greer. The incident occurred around 1:58 p.m. at 203 North Avenue, a location not far from Greer City Park. According to the Greenville County Coroner's Office, Banks was fatally shot during an altercation at the residence. The coroner's report confirmed that Banks died at the scene from his injuries.
