In the quiet community of Greer, South Carolina, the life of Jerry Andrew Gentry Jr., a 48-year-old White / Caucasian male, was brought to an abrupt and violent end. On the evening of Friday, March 20, 2020, Greenville County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a call concerning a shooting. Upon their arrival at the scene, they discovered Mr. Gentry, who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead.
