Kassandra Perkins, a 22-year-old woman from Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost her life on December 1, 2012, in a murder-suicide incident involving her boyfriend, Jovan Belcher, a linebacker for the Kansas City Chiefs. The incident occurred at the couple's home, where Belcher shot Perkins multiple times before driving to the Kansas City Chiefs practice facility and taking his own life in front of team officials.
