Nicholas DeShaun Gilbert, a 32-year-old resident of Sikeston, Missouri, tragically lost his life on December 16, 2012, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Born on February 10, 1980, in Stuttgart, Arkansas, Nicholas was the son of Kevin Dolphin and Charlie King. He attended Sikeston Senior High School and Lincoln College of Technology in Marietta, Georgia, and was employed at Oldcastle Manufacturing in Sikeston. Nicholas was also a member of Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston.
