Ryan C. Grandi, aged 30, tragically lost his life on March 1, 2017, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The circumstances surrounding his death were both shocking and tragic. Grandi was fatally shot at his residence in east Cape Girardeau. The incident occurred after two men, Nicholas R. Fairbank, aged 20, and Steffon R. Swader, aged 18, broke into his home. Following the shooting, Fairbank and Swader transported Grandi to a local hospital but fled the scene after emergency personnel took over.
