On May 11, 2017, the life of Demetric LaShaun Atchison, a 41-year-old Black/African American male from Charleston, Missouri, was tragically cut short in Cape Girardeau. Atchison, a graduate of Charleston High School, was the victim of a fatal shooting. Born on November 26, 1975, he was a father to four sons and two daughters.
