Derwin Alexander Simmons, aged 45, was tragically shot and killed on August 1, 2018, at a Hardee's restaurant in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The incident occurred around 10:39 a.m. and was the culmination of an escalating domestic conflict involving Simmons, Anthony Levar Sinks, and Sinks' ex-wife.
