In the late hours of a Wednesday evening in Denver, the sound of gunshots shattered the night's quiet on the 1600 block of South Bryant Street. It was around 10 p.m. on March 27, 2013, when police received a call about a man down in the street. Arriving at the scene, officers discovered a man lying in the road, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Denver Health, but his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
