In the early morning hours of Sunday, June 2, 2019, the Westwood neighborhood of Denver was rattled by a shooting that would claim the life of 27-year-old Michael Magallanes. The incident occurred in the 5100 block of Morrison Road, where police responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 6 a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Magallanes with injuries that would ultimately prove fatal.
