Walter Lee Gregory, a 40-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, was tragically shot and killed on January 19, 2016. The incident occurred near 39th Street and Troost Avenue around 2 p.m. Gregory was found by Kansas City police with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead. Witnesses reported seeing a vehicle speeding away from the scene shortly after the shooting, but the type and color of the car were not disclosed.
Gregory's death is being investigated as a homicide.
