On the evening of March 4, 2023, tragedy struck in Kansas City, Missouri, claiming the life of 32-year-old Orlando D. Taylor Jr. Officers from the Kansas City Police Department were dispatched to the 1300 block of Highland Avenue just after 5:00 p.m. following reports of a disturbance at an apartment complex in the area.
