In the early morning hours of February 6, 2016, a resident in the 7400 block of Flora Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri, made a grim discovery. Inside a car parked in the driveway of a home, 53-year-old Robert A. Blaylock was found deceased. A subsequent investigation by the Kansas City Police Department revealed that Blaylock had been the victim of a shooting, and his death was immediately treated as a homicide.
