A mother discovers her daughter beaten to death
Keyla Weddel, a beloved 33-year-old schoolteacher from Medora, Indiana, was found brutally murdered in her mobile home on August 18, 1988. Her mother discovered her body in the morning after she went to check on Keyla. The mobile home, located just behind her parents' house, showed no signs of forced entry, suggesting that Keyla might have known her assailant.
