Linda L. Weldy, a 10-year-old girl from LaPorte, Indiana, was tragically abducted and murdered in 1987. On February 24, Linda was last seen exiting her school bus in front of her home on McClung Road at approximately 3:30 p.m. She was expected to make the short walk to her house, but she never arrived. Her mother reported her missing later that evening, prompting an extensive search.
