William Crawford, a 50-year-old resident of Jefferson City, Missouri, was found dead at his home on August 20, 2016. Initially reported as a "suspicious death," the investigation quickly escalated to a homicide case. Crawford was discovered unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head, leading authorities to conclude that he had been murdered. The incident occurred sometime between the evening of August 19 and the early morning of August 20.
