Trooper James M. Froemsdorf, a dedicated member of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, tragically lost his life on March 2, 1985. The incident occurred on Interstate 55 near Brewer, Missouri, in Perry County. Trooper Froemsdorf had stopped Jerome Mallett for exceeding the speed limit.
