DeSean Parker, a 23-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, was tragically shot and killed on December 31, 2016. The incident occurred outside The Peanut, a popular downtown bar located at 9th and Washington. Parker was one of three individuals shot in the incident, which took place around 9 p.m. on New Year's Eve. The other victims, a man and a woman, survived their injuries.
