On the evening of September 5, 2016, police in Kansas City, Missouri, were called to a residence in the 7700 block of Sni-A-Bar Terrace regarding a reported shooting. Upon their arrival shortly after 7:00 p.m., officers discovered the body of 45-year-old Shane Hedges. He was pronounced dead at the scene, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
