On September 5, 2016, 45-year-old Shane Edward Hedges was found deceased outside his residence in the 7700 block of Sni-A-Bar Terrace, Kansas City, Missouri, from a gunshot wound. Born on July 13, 1971, in Harrisonville, Missouri, Shane grew up in Raytown and attended Raytown High School. He was previously married to Kimberly Sue Burt, with whom he had three children: Kristopher, Kaleb, and Katelyn.
