In the early morning hours of June 10, 2024, a violent incident unfolded in the Crossroads Arts District of Kansas City, Missouri, claiming the life of 28-year-old McKinley 'Mac' Johnson Jr. Officers from the Kansas City Police Department responded to reports of a shooting near Truman Road and Grand Boulevard around 12:45 a.m. Upon arrival, first responders discovered the male victim lying on the sidewalk, suffering from fatal gunshot wounds.
