Jasen Byers, a 42-year-old man, was a known entrepreneur and recording artist in his community. On the morning of August 26, 2017, he was found shot to death inside his clothing store, Our Lifestylez, located in the 4800 block of North Oak Trafficway in Kansas City, Missouri. Police had responded to reports of a shooting in the early hours of the morning and discovered his body at the scene.
