Chase Byers, a 23-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost his life on January 20, 2020. Byers was shot and killed near 80th Street and James A Reed Road around 3:30 p.m. on that fateful day. When police arrived at the scene, they found Byers suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the officers' efforts to render aid until EMS arrived, Byers was pronounced dead at the scene.
