In the early morning hours of July 23, 2021, a violent incident unfolded in a neighborhood in Kansas City, Missouri, claiming the life of a 39-year-old male named Marcus Monroe Jimenez. Officers from the Kansas City Police Department were dispatched to the 7000 block of Monroe Avenue, near Gregory Boulevard, just before 3:00 a.m. following reports of a shooting.
