In the spring of 2020, the life of Thomas B. Willett, a 29-year-old man, was tragically cut short by an act of gun violence in Kansas City, Missouri. On the evening of Friday, March 20, 2020, officers from the Kansas City Police Department were dispatched to the 3400 block of East 49th Street after receiving reports of a shooting.
