A woman is found floating in the Wabash River
Michelle P. Asher, a 37-year-old woman from Knox County, Indiana, was reported missing on December 27, 2004. Her disappearance led to a prolonged search, and it wasn't until May 14, 2005, that her body was found floating in the Wabash River. Unfortunately, due to the advanced state of decomposition, the cause of death could not be determined conclusively. Investigators ruled out robbery as a motive since there were no indications of items missing from her possession.
