On a Tuesday afternoon in Milwaukee, the life of 26-year-old Giovanni R. Golatt, a Black male, was abruptly ended. On September 18, 2018, Golatt was shot and killed near the intersection of 6th and Hayes. The incident, which took place around 1:45 p.m., quickly devolved into a scene of chaos and turmoil, compounding the tragedy of the young man's death.
