On December 10, 2023, the life of Zawondra Trinnette Lee, a 52-year-old African American woman, was tragically cut short inside a residence in South Bend, Indiana. Born and raised in the area, Zawondra was known to her family and community as a graduate of Washington High School and a dedicated certified surgical technician who had attended Ivy Tech College.
