In the fall of 2016, the South Bend, Indiana community was shaken by the tragic death of Amana Denise Scott, a 45-year-old female. Her life was abruptly ended on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, in a devastating act of domestic violence. Scott, a beloved mother of three daughters, was shot and killed by Aaron Wilson, the 36-year-old father of her youngest child. Following the murder of Scott, Wilson then took his own life.
