Khalyiah Cathryn Bell, a 26-year-old woman from South Bend, Indiana, was tragically shot and killed on November 3, 2023, at the Beacon Heights Apartments. The incident occurred in the early morning hours, with police receiving a distress call around 8:34 a.m. to investigate a possible shooting at the 3400 block of Curtiss Drive.
