On the evening of June 21, 2020, a Sunday in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the life of 17-year-old Diontae Rayquan Wallace, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short by gun violence. At around 8:09 p.m., Minneapolis Police responded to reports of gunfire in the vicinity of 30th and Knox Avenue North. Upon arrival, they found Wallace without a pulse.
