Abdifatah Ibrahim Mohamed, 22, of St. Paul, was found gravely wounded on June 27, 2018, near 9th Street and 23rd Avenue S. in Minneapolis. He had been shot in the head following an altercation with the suspect. The confrontation escalated when the suspect retrieved a gun from his car and shot Mohamed. Despite being rushed to Hennepin County Medical Center, Mohamed succumbed to his injuries early the next day.
