In the early morning hours of September 21, 2019, the life of Chad James Holin, a 34-year-old Caucasian male, was cut short by an act of violence in north Minneapolis. Near Folwell Park, in the 3900 block of Humboldt Avenue North, multiple 911 calls reported the sound of gunfire, drawing police to the scene. There, they discovered Holin suffering from a fatal gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at the location just before 1:40 AM.
