In the late hours of a Saturday night in Minneapolis, a dispute at a well-traveled intersection tragically escalated, ending the life of 36-year-old Adonis Qumar Meekins, a Black/African American male. On September 20, 2025, just before midnight, the sound of gunfire pierced the air near the corner of Chicago Avenue S. and E. Franklin Avenue.
