In the summer of 2017, a burst of gunfire shattered the evening calm in the West End neighborhood of Saint Louis, Missouri, leaving two men fatally wounded. On August 29th, police responded to the intersection of Page Boulevard and Belt Avenue to find Otis Bennett, a 45-year-old male, and another man, 44-year-old Matthew Barry, suffering from gunshot wounds. Both men were rushed to a nearby hospital, but their injuries proved too severe, and they were pronounced dead shortly after their arrival. ...
