Death by Force

Coty D. Henry, a 25-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, was tragically shot and killed on July 26, 2018. The incident occurred at the Trails at the Ridge apartment complex, located in the 8600 block of East 61st Terrace. Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) officers responded to a shooting call around 2:45 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Henry inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. This marked the 66th homicide in Kansas City for the year 2018.
