Dajuan J. Alvarez, a 30-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost his life on August 12, 2018. The incident occurred shortly before midnight when Alvarez was brought to Research Medical Center in Brookside with critical injuries. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department's homicide unit was called in to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.
