In the Gravois Park neighborhood of St. Louis, a young woman's life was tragically cut short in the middle of a Sunday afternoon. Nineteen-year-old Tyesha Seals was shot and killed on September 30, 2018. The incident unfolded shortly after noon following what police described as an argument.
As Tyesha attempted to flee the residence, she was fatally wounded by a gunshot fired through a door. Responding officers discovered her unresponsive on the front lawn of the home located in the 3700 block of Minnesota Avenue. She was rushed to a local hospital but ultimately succumbed to her injuries.
Following the shooting, two men were taken into custody at the house where the incident occurred. One of the men, 25-year-old Latrail Grant, was subsequently charged with murder and unlawful possession of a firearm in connection with Tyesha's death. Authorities alleged that Grant was the individual who fired the fatal shot through the door as she fled.
