Deonte Jaquan Gainwell, a 20-year-old from Columbia, Missouri, tragically passed away on January 17, 2019. Deonte was born on March 11, 1998, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and later moved to Columbia with his mother for better opportunities. He was a scholar of Columbia Public Schools and graduated from Douglas High School in May 2016.
