In the fall of 2019, the community of Columbia, Missouri, was shaken by the tragic and premature death of Dajion Harris, a 13-year-old African American boy known for his happy demeanor and love for sports. A student at Oakland Middle School who had previously attended Benton Elementary, Dajion was remembered by friends and family for his sense of humor and 'goofiness.'
