Roberto Angel Lauer, an 18-year-old resident of Columbia, Missouri, tragically lost his life on January 17, 2022. Roberto, affectionately known as "Berto," was a senior at Battle High School and was remembered for his contagious smile and positive personality. On the night of his death, Roberto was found with a gunshot wound at a residence in northeast Columbia. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
