In the early morning hours of May 23, 2021, a violent incident unfolded at a local establishment in northeast Columbia, Missouri, known as The Vault. Boone County Sheriff's deputies were already present at the scene around 2:50 a.m., initially responding to a separate complaint regarding parking issues at the venue.
