Marvon D. Kirkwood, a 21-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost his life on January 27, 2019, due to gun violence. Marvon, who graduated from Central High School in May 2016 and worked as a construction worker, was one of three shooting victims who arrived at a hospital by private vehicle around 2:30 a.m. on that fateful day. Unfortunately, Marvon was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital, while the other two victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
