In the early morning hours of Sunday, January 27, 2019, violence erupted on the streets of Kansas City, Missouri, claiming the life of a young man named Marvon Kirkwood. The 21-year-old was at the intersection of Linwood Boulevard and Olive Street when gunfire rang out around 2:30 a.m., striking him and two others in a triple shooting. The chaotic scene left the victims scrambling for aid, and Kirkwood was hurriedly transported to a nearby hospital in a private vehicle rather than an ambulance. ...
