Ki'essence Pelton, a 25-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost her life on July 7, 2019. She was shot and killed while riding in the passenger seat of a car near 39th Street and Myrtle Avenue. The incident occurred early in the morning, and she was rushed to the emergency room but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries shortly after. Ki'essence was described as a loving mother to her two young daughters, aged 5 and 10 months at the time of her death.
