On Christmas Eve morning in Raytown, Missouri, a suburb of Kansas City, the body of 40-year-old Amber Minor, a Black transgender woman, was discovered in a driveway. The tragic event unfolded on December 24, 2023, when police responded to a call at approximately 8:35 a.m. in the 9800 block of 77th Terrace.
